Laura Quilliam is a social worker with 20 years of experience in various healthcare settings. As a dedicated healthcare practitioner Laura holds a BA with a major in Anthropology from St. Francis Xavier University, a BSW from Dalhousie University, and an MSW from Carleton University.
Laura has clinical training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma Counselling. Laura has extensive knowledge of the healthcare systems and policies throughout Canada.

Laura has worked with clients experiencing a broad range of both physiological and psychological disabilities. She has acquired a wealth of experience educating clients and families about many different medical conditions. Over the years, Laura has gained invaluable experience in community health, long-term care, acute care hospital environment and now military mental health. These experiences have lead her to take on an adaptive approach in order to meet the diverse needs of her clients.
Laura works with adults and seniors, as well as their families/loved ones, and caregivers. Laura has experience supporting individuals dealing with:
